Luna is a beautiful red and white 4 year old Malamute who is needing a new home due to her current owners change in circumstance. Luna is a much loved family dog and we have been asked to find her a home who know and love her breed. Luna has a wonderful temperament with people, and has happily been around children of all ages. Purely because of her size, we would only rehome her in a family with children over 12. She has also happily lived with other larger sized dogs, and could possibly live with a playful large male dog, we would not rehome her with another bitch. Luna treats her walk times with great excitement and acts like she’s never had a walk before for the first 15 mins, but she does calm down and settle into her walks! She does have hip dysplasia so her walks are limited to around an hour a day (on lead, she must not be let off lead!!). The condition is managed very well with some simple physio exercises for her and very occasional painkillers. Luna is very well behaved around the house – she is fully housetrained and fine to be left for a few hours. She does quite like to have a nibble on the post if she’s allowed to though!! Luna needs a very secure garden as she’s a good escape artist! She really is the most beautiful dog and we are looking for a Malamute or snow dog experienced home for her.
