Peggy is a very sweet, loving and well behaved Staffy cross (possibly Whippet) who is only around 2 years old. She has clearly been bred from in the past, before finding herself abandoned and in a stray pound. She has a really lovely nature and is a total pleasure to be around, she’s very affectionate but no too full on with it. Peggy is excellent around the house, she is fully housetrained, doesn’t chew anything she shouldn’t, and is quiet when on her own. Peggy is fine around other dogs that she has met, and has been in a house with other dogs with no problems, but she seems defensive around some dogs when she’s on waks, She can bark at new dogs when she’s on lead, but once she’s settled in a new home, and with training, we are sure this will improve, but it is something that needs some work at the moment. We think she may have had some bad experiences in the past with other dogs, so she just needs a home who understands this and is willing to help her relax a bit. Peggy is totally fine being left for a few hours in the house with no issues, she also sleeps downstairs overnight with no problem. She travels very well in the car, and is generally just a lovely girl who will make a fantastic dog for a loving and understanding home. She really does deserve a home of her own this winter.
